SECURITY VETTING

OUR CAPABILITIES
MPS is the most experienced security vetting agency in Australia. Over the past 10 years MPS has assessed over 60,000 security clearances for AGSVA. MPS actively engage with industry and governmental bodies to ensure that we have an up-to-date understanding of security vetting best practices and the latest assessment of national security priorities.
In delivering his 2023 Annual Threat Assessment, ASIO’s Director-General, Mike Burgess, assessed that espionage, foreign interference and insider threat are now Australia’s principal security concerns. MPS helps mitigate these concerns by identifying potential risks, vulnerabilities, and conflicts of interest that may compromise national security or the efficient functioning of government operations.
To support the Commonwealth with the most up to date security risk information MPS is a member of the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre, including access to their Centre of Excellence to fight insider threats and espionage. MPS is also a member of the Australian Government’s Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN), allowing us to collaborate to identify and manage risks to critical infrastructure, address security gaps within sectors, implement mitigation strategies and inform future policy and programs.
