WORKING WITH MPS
Our Workplace
At MPS we are committed to working with others to make a difference. Our core values underpin our approach to all areas of the business, always operating with integrity, honesty, loyalty and trust.
MPS has an inclusive work environment focused on a culture where all staff feel respected, connected and proud of working for MPS. We pride ourselves on being an employer of choice with diversity and inclusion being a key focus of our workplace policies and practices, including flexible working arrangements, work-life balance, workplace behaviours, conditions of engagement, disability and reasonable adjustment. MPS employs a diverse range of Australian workers without discriminating on gender, race, sexuality or age.
Our workplace lets you be you and we encourage flexibility. We encourage and support our staff to ‘be their best not just be sitting at their desk’. We actively encourage our staff to balance achieving KPI outputs with wellbeing, life, and hobbies/interests. We are all about helping people to thrive wholistically, allowing the autonomy to get the work done in the way that works best for them – be that with routine or rewarding themselves with ‘beach days’, it’s the flexibility to utilise their time in the way that works best for them.

Our People
Our greatest strength is our people. Our people are passionate about what they do and hold a strong loyalty to Australia, its people and our shared national security interests. Our people understand the importance of the work that we do:
- Protecting the nation we love

- Safeguarding the freedoms our friends and families enjoy.
With a workplace focused on wellbeing we have maintained a high retention rate by building a diverse team of skilled employees and offering many staff incentives.
MPS takes a special interest in the welfare of team members, ensuring an inclusive environment that builds and sustains a high performing team. Our mission is not all about how to succeed in business, but how to build a winning team of inspired employees.
We do this through bringing collaboration, fun culture and togetherness into the workplace. MPS’s inclusive policies and practices enable staff, at every level, to use and develop their skills, knowledge and experience and share that with others.
Women in leadership
As a business started by our two women directors, Karen Bradley and Tracey Mitchell, we understand the importance of supporting women in leadership roles. Our leadership team remains female focussed with over 60% of leadership positions filled by women leaders. Our leadership pathways program ensures our future leaders continue to represent the diversity we are so proud of, creating strong futures for all women.
